How many times have we been left without tickets to a concert? Or we are left with the tickets to an event that we could not attend? This is something that has happened to many of us, but now, thanks to StubHub, that will not be a problem anymore.
StubHub, a company owned by eBay, is by far a preferred reselling tickets website and it has finally arrived to Mexico where it will compete primarily with companies such as TicketMaster or TicketBis.
It is a company that billed 3.6 million dollars, and now, in order to expand its market in Latin America they have officially started operations in Mexico through StubHub.mx
The platform serves as a marketplace that connects people who want to sell a ticket, with others who need tickets for an event. StubHub.mx works as follows: they charge a commission to both the buyer and the seller. The first one is charged with an 18% of the value of the ticket and to the seller they charge from 12 to 15% of the price.
