America’s first youth orchestra invites you to Portland Youth Philharmonic’s Season 93 Winter Concert on Saturday, March 4, 2017 in the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. Roger Kaza, PYP alumnus (1968-74) and Principal Horn for the St. Louis Symphony, returns to Portland to perform Peter Schickele‘s Pentangle for Horn and Orchestra with PYP. Other highlights include Samuel Barber‘s Essay No. 1 for Orchestra, Claude Debussy‘s Nuages and Fêtes from Nocturnes, and Hector Berlioz‘s Roman Carnival Overture. Tickets start at just $5 for students. Visit for more details and to reserve your seats today. Videography by Basement Window Media.
